WASKO-PROJEKT was established in 1997 on the basis of the architectonic and planning atelier
REGION, which specialized in designing objects of the public use,
especially sport architecture. The full professor Andrzej Skoczek has been its
founder. During many years' of professional career among other undertakings he
served as a coordinator
of designing works for the needs of the planned Olympic Games in Zakopane.
At the moment, the firm management consists of employees
of Department of Contemporary Regional Architecture of Cracow University
of Technology, supervised by Prof. Andrzej Skoczek.
One of the most important designs created in the studio is
the design of two level regional
bus station,
the first building of that character in Poland.
The seat of the firm is localized in the Investment and Designing Centre
at Bursztynowa street no. 5 in Cracow. There are also firms that provide
complex investment handling (real estate agency, notary, bank,
construction, installation, electricity and road designers, building firm, estimators,
geodesists), which assures efficient co-operation, from purchasing a real estate,
to the last stage of its realization (including selling).
